Welcome to The Homestead Assisted Living. Since opening our doors in August 2004, we've been dedicated to serving the elderly in our community with care and compassion.
Founded by Stanley Yancey, a Houma native, The Homestead was inspired by a personal experience. Stanley's mother's health event highlighted the importance of quality assisted living, leading him into this field with a commitment to provide the best care possible.

At the Homestead, residents receive three nutritious meals each day. Our culinary team prepares a variety of dishes to cater to different tastes and dietary requirements.

Laundry
Our comprehensive laundry service takes care of washing, drying, and folding clothes. This allows residents to focus on their daily activities without worrying about chores.

24-Hour Nurse Access
Residents have access to nursing care around the clock. Our trained nursing staff is available to address any health concerns and provide medical assistance whenever needed.
