The Amazing Homestead Race featured 10 weeks of trivia that the residents answered and raced around the world to see who could get back to The Homestead first. The theme for National Assisted Living Week 2006 was “Hearts in Harmony”. The Homestead asked each resident and staff member to decorate a puzzle piece that represented them. Then the residents put the puzzle together to create a giant heart.
